6 Reasons to Shop Small Businesses this Christmas

Since the start of COVID, small businesses everywhere have been in a struggle. We’ve seen too many great businesses close their doors for so many reasons. If only there was something we can do to help. Well, there is! This Christmas, why not shop small?

Wade and I want to encourage you to consider purchasing items from one of the small businesses below, or making a serious effort to shop the small businesses in your own town. Places like Amazon and Target already get enough of our money. Let’s put our money where our mouth is and give back to our communities. Let’s help them thrive this holiday season! Shop during their sales around Black Friday and giving them a shout out on social media. Let’s help them overcome everything they have been through these past few years.

Below you will find some small businesses that Wade and I personally love. We receive nothing in promoting these businesses (just to be clear). We make no money from sharing these businesses- but your money blesses a family. It puts food on the table of real families and it strengthens the local economy. 5th and Paisley is owned by a mom and her four daughters. Their store is located downtown in Green Cove Springs here in Florida, you can also shop online. They attend markets and events through out the year and also provide a private shopping session or you can schedule a Sip and Shop with your girlfriends at their store! Social House Coffee is a husband and wife owned coffee shop located in the Avondale area of Jacksonville, Florida. Arrelious, a former Jacksonville Jaguars player, knew that when he retired he wanted to find a way to connect and give back to the Jacksonville community that supported him for so many years.

We love to have coffee dates before church at Social House. The baristas at this coffee shop are so friendly and we always enjoy our coffee and breakfast from here.

Premier Gift Shop & Boutique in Roswell and Woodstock, GA. Audrey Findlay and Barbara Rowe are sisters who own the shops. They offers unique gifts, apparel, jewelry, monogrammed items, frames, candles, tabletop Bath and Body, baby and collegiate items!!
