We did something quite different for this years Fall Minis and we are obsess with the outcome! We were inspired by photographer and Instagramer Kiel James Patrick fall photo. With COVID being on everyone’s mind and quarantine/at home order being in effect this year, we thought front porch minis was the perfect backdrop. Plus, we had the whole space to ourselves so it was great for social distancing purposes.
The planning process on bringing our vision to life took time and many trips to HobbyLobby. We were fortunate enough to have connections to a couple who had the perfect front porch in the heart of Riverside Jacksonville. Once we had the location, it was time to decorate! I definitely wanted everything to. be neutral, subtle colors. So we picked up white pumpkins from HobbyLobby and a few other items to make the space feel cozy. For the flowers, we know we wanted real ones and a lot of them. Just like our inspiration photo, we wanted the pumpkins and flowers to be the main decor. We reached out to local flower shop St. Johns Flower Market in Riverside to see if they were willing to collaborate. Ideally, they were on board! It definitely help made the minis look like our vision.
The day of the minis, we weren’t able to have that perfect sweater weather. In Florida, it’s usually in the low 80s, sometimes high 70s if we are lucky. But you couldn’t tell from the photos that these were taken in high humidity! You can see how our couples loved snuggling up together and didn’t mind the heat!
We wanted to highlight a few of our clients that joined us this year below! We hope you enjoy viewing them, and hope to see you signing up for our next round of Fall mini sessions! Here’s some of our favorites:
